XFCE4 Menu Cheatsheet

Today I had a few issues with finding the correct files for XFCE4 installed on an Ubuntu release. Due to Gnome being present all the existing menu editors assumed I use Gnome and were pretty much useless...

So basically, the files of importance:

Main Menu File:
/etc/xdg/menus/xfce-applications.menu

All the .desktop files mentioned are in:
/usr/share/applications/

You can copy an existing .desktop and modify it to create a custom menu item then simply reference it in the correct file, mine were all in the main xfce-applications.menu file.

New DB coming soon for Google device searches...

I love using Google to find device statistics or unsecured devices directly connected to the inet, it must have something to do with being a geek... Whether finding printers, webcams or the like, I can spend hours playing around...

I'm creating a db for this on the ONMS.net site, in the meantime try Googling the string below to find UPS statistics (my search returned over 1000 results):

inurl:"/multimon.cgi" "Multimon: UPS Status Page"
